Destiny of the Flame
Facing him, one feels nothing.

Betrayal drifts, a leaf carried by the touch of ice. Red stains the scent breathed in as sweat salts the ground on which they stand.
The smile widens. No longer the sunshine but instead something that reflects it. It glints off sharpened white points. It is a void. Empty. Sinister. It hisses its glee as it tastes the sweet thickness of pain.
The cage is broken. There is a rush of relief. It merges with the bitterness of anger. The fusion results in that ultimate knowledge.
Sky blue shutters, the sheen of rain locked away behind raw power.
