Awe, that opening!! And then it gets kind of sad ...
Anyway, I really loved the flow and word usage here. It was really short sentences and very loaded words which I really loved.

"Black ribbons unwind. They slip off pale wrists."

The imagery in this piece is just amazing (I particularly liked the quote above). It feels as though you are painting, with a very light, delicate touch. There are only ...221 words? and yet the scene is perfectly set up, perfectly complete and totally devastating. Really amazing, I hesitate to use the cliche "say so much with so little" but yes, exactly. Pro.
