Somehow, it never dawned on me that a fairy tale character could suffer from post-traumatic stress.

The image of a small child running and falling came across really vividly.

oh wow that was wonderful!! Red Riding Hood, and really all those odd fairy tales and children's stories, are built on such... gruesome and disturbing happenstances. I think you did a great job carrying that on a little further
