I kept randomly grinning as I read this - little kids are just too damn cute for their own good. Although, it wasn't until I was about halfway through the birthday party that I remembered it to be the day Hinata was kidnapped and got all anxious as the part wore down. XD

Aww, poor Kakashi! Being forced to admit that he likes his sensei, only to have the situation turn around on him.

Naruto was absolutely hilarious. His pride in making Sasuke cry (and Sasuke being a crybaby in the first place XD), his eagerness to use his newfound vocabulary, his pickiness in women (I wonder what would come out on paper if anyone ever asked him to draw the perfect woman/mother) - he's just the perfect little kid.

Ooooh, I really love the personality you've given Yondaime! It's cool but quirky and very appropriate :D

This is a really great premise and you're doing an awesome job making it work.

Why have I never read you before?! I cannot... cannot believe that I didn't stumble on your work on AFF or FF. If only the story went the way you're telling it... man, I'd still think that Kishimoto was cool (okay he is admittedly redeeming himself with his recent back story ninja mythology) This is a real treat. Thank you for sharing!
