The use of two strong colors really makes a bold statement and work together beautifully! The way you colored gives a strong sense of depth :)

 

DDD: that sucks hardcore... I would have loved to watch your animation process b/c the flowers are STUNNING

Wow! This is so pretty. I love how the girl's colors are pale and muted compared to the rich flowers. *_* And making two of them blue is so cool! This picture has a really nice composition. I've heard really good things about this series, I have to check it out.

I like that story. I think I'll tell it to my future kids for a bedtime story!!
Anyway, this picture is very pretty. It doesn't look like a oekaki at all, but a pastel chalk drawing. I love the profile of her face ... she reminds me of Nana, both very cool looking and pretty.
I also really like how you did her hand. Very nice shading!
Also, the petals on her body add a lot of perspective and colour to it - I love it! [faves]

ahahah aww chupa, such an epic battle with oekaki and computer malfunctions! *rewards with cookies* this is gorgeous, im looking at that rose bed and I doubt I can do that...LOL i have this tendency to give up trying to make things looke full...and layered...xD

sorry about your first 2 lost oekakis, bebe ;___; but i think this piece is still really beautifully done! i LOOOVE the details on those flowers~ Such a nice contrasting color. And the rough strokes = h'omy! icon icon icon

Dude. I burst into tears when that stuff happens to me (I'm very fragile in exactly one aspect of my character).

True story: Vampires and I have a very shakey relationship (slightly funny story there), and by the time I was a Senior I had added the phrase "Vampires are destroying literature" to my repertoire. When Blood+ came on Cartoon Network I watched a couple of episodes waiting for something else to come on. But then I actually enjoyed it. I credit my intial tolerance to the fact that in no episode that I saw did they ever refer to anyone/thing as "vampires". But now I like it. Hellsing and Blood+ make me a hypocrite.

Oh Hey: Beautiful picture, btw. You do a wonderful thing with texture and color that is just fascinating. And the fact that there are highlights of red and blue in her skin and hair is so cool and just perfect. Your style is so immensely cool, and you do something with eyes that I admit to actually stealing from you sometimes when I draw: not making the corneas white. Very cool, very, very cool.

You + the word anyhoo + oekaki = faboo in my world!

What can I say? The fading blood red colour on her bottom lip, how the hand is placed.. the way you sort of mix these neutral colours in everything - classic oekaki beauty!
Could also double up as an ad for some exotic perfume or something!
~ ahh, it's just kickass to see your oekaki again!

I'm glad you were able to come back and make another attempt. The blue against the red is so lovely here!
