This was my first attempt at levitation. It was actually on the front page of flickr for a day :) The 30th most interesting photo uploaded to flickr on November 9th!
Man.. I finally finished my manga photoshoot... planning took ages, shooting took ages and post processing took even longer.
I might do this kinda thing again if people dig it!
Since Ochiba.net doesn't allow large submissions... you can view the rest of the comic here:

A little shoot at Natalie's home (same girl as chinatown shot)
I've got a really fun comic style shoot planned with her and someone else that I think you're all gonna like.
I'll post it here first :)
I thought this... could've been Mars? Haha.
This is another HDR shot like the Chinatown one.
Everyone's been asking what HDR is.. so I'll explain it a little and also how to do it so you guys can try it out.
HDR stands for high dynamic range. What this means in photography is that you take several photos all at different exposure levels. From dark to bright so you get all areas in the frame exposed well.
To explain a little further.... When you normally take a photo the shadow could be completely pitch black or the sky could be completely white (even though it may be blue)
When you combine different exposures together everything will be visible from shadows to normally very bright areas.
So all you need to do is to take 3 photos or more at different exposure settings while holding the camera still. A lot of people out there say you need a tripod for this but I disagree as all my HDR stuff is handheld.
Then you can process it with either Photoshop (which takes a while, lots of work) ... or HDR dedicated software like Photomatix Pro *coughtorrentcough*
When shooting HDR make sure there aren't too many moving objects like trees, people or cars.. it won't turn out.
Anyway.. any more HDR questions, just ask here and I'll reply.
This here's a HDR shot!
HDR photos of people are reeaaaallly hard to do, also because you have to spend a very long time post processing it :( (this one took over 1 hour lol)
buuuut i think it was worth it!
This was my first photoshoot with Natalie. I used her again later for a more natural shoot.... and I'm going to use her again for a really extreme shoot I have in mind!
I'm feeling very exclamation marky today
Is that even a mood?
I went to an anime convention back in 07 and this naruto cosplay group wanted their photos taken.
This was my favorite shot of the bunch
As I love the Naruto manga and Sasuke the most, I tried to take a gloomy shot of Sasuke to reflect his troubled past
The cosplayer was actually a girl who looked really awesome!
I borrowed this 7k lens from Canon... and man it was heavy and hard to use.
This guy was sitting really really far away from me, you couldn't see him with your own eyes.
I noticed him as I was spying on stuff around me, hahaha
I'll start to put my personal favorites of the last few months here.
Not to flood this place I'll limit it to 1 per day for now!
Starting with one Ochiba liked.
If any of you have any photography or photoshop(post processing) related questions, shoot! I'm your guy :]
This photo was shot at a junkyard. I like dirty places :/
