Double K fanart! XD Because it's just that AWESOME. And because captainosaka @ deviantart is a genius. Basically, Double K is a buddy cop type of story made by captainosaka and Kamina and Kittan (from Gurren Lagann ) are the main characters so GO READ IT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. [link]

Now for the picture itself: I originally drew it in my friend's yearbook but I liked it a lot so I quickly drew another sketch of it and then.. here we are =D

GAHHHAA;DKF;ADKFD Kamina's hands were almost torture to do because I just suck that much a drawing hands. D: It took me a loooong time (almost an hour @__@;; ) to FINALLY get his hands to look decent. But everything else from there was smooth sailing and it was really fun to color XD I even decided to cel shade it since it matched the style of Double K a lot better than my regular coloring style. Overall I'm really pleased with the outcome =D

LOL! SO DAMN CUTE, I love the uke's and seme's identical expressions XDDD

Though I hate to admit it, Tsuna is a cuter uke, he could out-uke anyone icon

lol I love the idea of this picture. The expressions are so well done! Though, I am not sure which one is cuter...

 

Naruto... hands down icon Although--if we go by just the canon--Kyoya wins for best seme.

I love the shapes in this, the wings and the curves, and also the slightly scary eyes!

 

Wow, this is kind of haunting o_o. I like the deep reds you added to the skin and the sharpness of the edges...he scares me! *hides* XD

Hmm I like all the colors that went into this, I especially like the way you have dealt with the leaves - the oranges interact so well with your greens *u*

Yes~~ paintbbs is a rockstar~!
As long as you keep such beautiful colours, I think you'll be able to shift the focus more on those. So generic or not, your colouring is still like delicious psatries/beautiful candies I want to scarf down!

XD Howl~~~!

Waiiii~~ Sooo first time doing all the lines with the pen tool @___@ holy cowz~~! I decided to try an uber cute style with none other than one of my fav bishies-- HOWL~! I just watched Howl's Moving Castle & it's soooo luffily >w<~~ i adore Howl~~!!! (let's be honest-- Christian Bale makes howeven MORE bishie) Uhm yesh.... so i probably should have cel-shaded this, but i created a new brush in CS3 and decided to try cging with just that. I think i like Calcifer a lot in this. >w<~~ the background took me forever to decide one! hahaha

this is so adorable!! I love the soft colors, especially the clouds and grass in the background; they make me want to go out in the field and take a nap XD and I agree, calcifer looks great in this! nice job, keep experimenting and trying new things~ :)

Yay for Christian Bale and Howl's Moving Castle!
Waai, so cute!! I love his bright blue eyes and golden hair. Calcifer is sooo adorable here!! His eyes are like <_>. Hahaha, I love it.
I like how the grass and sky are at that angle, it gives the picture a real ... spherical feel!
I really like the jewel, too ... so pretty and sparkly! Just like Howl's eyes.

Well, if I got this three years late - hey, even ten years - I'd be so delighted!!!
This picture is beautiful! The emotion of the picture ... it's very strong. The dark colours work towards a very grim setting, which is already set by the fact that she's holding his head.
And I'm really loving those walls. They are so textured and rough looking.
Ochi-sama is one lucky person to get a picture such as this!

Ah, I like that the red of her lips stands out from the red of the apples. The white of her skin really jumps out from the textured background, too. Love the details on the lace as well. <3

Wow, this is so beautiful!!
Just, wow ... it's like unraveling a scroll and finding an old, but beautiful piece of artwork painted on the front. It just has this ancient feel to it, but at the same time ... sparkling new! I don't know how to explain it, but this just too beautiful for comprehend-able words.
I love how you did her face and the hair ... and the lace, the apples ... branches ... everything!! [faves like crazy]

 

The texture and brown palette makes me think this is an illustration from those good old illustration books. It's a beautiful rendition of Snow White!

I am really loving that hair, right now!! I like how you did the "highlights" in her hair ... they look like candy almost, haha.
I like how you did the lineart, too ... so thick and clean - it looks good with your colouring!
One of my favourite parts is her eyes ... they look almost exactly like the sky! I have to say, I have never seen anyone do eyes where they look like the sky ... very beautiful!
