In the upcoming release the site will have a subscription option. To be honest with everyone, the features of the subscription will be pretty slim at least until you guys compile a feature wish list. The purpose of subscriptions is solely for those who want to help keep this server alive.

I know I can post a "donate" button or do as (oddly) one of my favorite sites used to do and simply threaten to shut down every month, but I think a subscription service is a better option since it's mutually beneficial.

So... we will need an accountant to manage the subscriptions. No, I will not be managing the funds, my bank is in Tokyo and the fees for banking transactions in Japan are as sane as the land prices here.

Requirements:
- ability to set up a paypal account
- frequent access to the internet and this site
- strong math skills or a calculator
- strong commitment to Ochiba.Net
- must be trustworthy

FINE PRINT: Ochiba.Net will always be a ZERO profit site. If we do receive enough subscriptions to support the server, then excess funds will be used to pad the server costs (in case of a slump in activity) for upgrading the server (if need be) or returned to the community (e.g., 'scholarship' contests) or donated to an adopted charity organization and the cost of subscriptions will be lowered. Furthermore, members who regularly contribute to this comm will be able to buy subscriptions with virtual cash. Please remember: the best way to support this community is not through subscriptions but rather by supporting and interacting with each other.
