So this is it! The official last chapter of BHD. There will be an epilogue after this, but this monster – seriously, this chapter is almost as long as the whole story Second Chances – is the resolution chapter that people wanted. I guess you could say this was an optional chapter for those that liked the ending of the last chapter. I liked the ending of the last chapter personally…

Anyway, this chapter is dedicated to WordSlave, because she is bribing me with a gift fic for finishing this. Lol, and I know I’ve been bad and working on other stuff instead of giving this my full attention, but I think I made up for it in length. Whew.

So this chapter is dedicated to WordSlave, because she has bribed me to finish BHD before anything else with the promise of a gift fic, and greedy bitch that I am, I have accepted. XDXD Technically, this is supposed to be the last chapter of BHD and then the epilogue…but we’ll discuss this again at the end of the chapter.

Oh, and for those of you that read the last chapter the first day I posted it, I actually changed the last sentence. It’s not a big change, but I was unhappy with it, and I like it better this way.

Ladelle discovered the theme song for this fic! Keri Hilson’s “Energy.” I meant to mention this in the last chapter, but I completely forgot. Oops. Anyway, Ladelle is wonderfully fantastic, and she has given me so many compliments and suggestions for this story that I am in love, love, LOVE!! I actually wanted to try to put some lyrics for the song in the story, but it didn’t work out. *frowns* I also forgot to mention that Ladelle was very helpful when I was writing Second Chances for Allys. So everyone, please love and fawn over Ladelle – assuming you already don’t. XD

Once again, Master of the Rebels beta’d this for me. She is writing me a gift fic, Maple River on fanfiction . net, so please check it out. Hahahahahaha! I have a gift fic! *swoons*

Finally, an update! After…almost 3 months…oops… Um…yeah… But! I have posted like three, four? other stories in the meantime, so please check them out.

Anyway, this was an extremely hard chapter for me to write. I had a horrible case of writer’s block. I think it took almost three weeks to come out. Although, on the bright side of things, I have plot bunnies for two other stories. I have to give credit to my awesome beta, Master of the Rebels, for helping to kick start my brain. She gave me such great ideas for this angsty chapter.

So I hope the wait was worth it.

Many thanks to Master of the Rebels for beta’ing! Besides correcting all my numerous mistakes, she also provided all the jutsu translations, which is awesome since I don’t know a lick of Japanese. Possible lemon next chapter!

This chapter advances the plot. Why, you ask, did I include a plot? I have no idea. Plots are hard. *sulks* Finally, from here on out, Naruto will be officially OOC since obviously this would never happen, and I’m going to throw in a Sasuke is OOC just for insurance purposes. Once again, thanks to the gracious Master of the Rebels for beta’ing this.
