Cool! I don't know who Kenjin and LaCarte is ... but that's okay! I still like the picture. I love the background!! It's like looking into the clouds in the sky: Oooh, I see a beetle, a frog, a Dragon, a person's head ... I like how you made it a kind of gradient in the background, it's very pretty.
I love how you shaded his body, it looks so very ... smooth!! Such an intense expression, too, very nice!

Manly man man huh? Just like a regular bear ...
That bit on his stomach, where the light meets the shade ... gold!
I also wonder how you get those cool effects in the background there ... looks trippy.

You sure took your time with producing this one for us k D:

No but I kid, the blockish shading really does lend for some *nice* muscles and it's strange, but even though I've seen many pictures of Kenjin so far, this one really stand out as just.. him. Him and the world, and whatever the hell's going on in his mind right now (and uhhh.. a LaCarte miasma but putting that aside..).

I don't know what kind of contour effect you did on the smoke/vapours/Lacarte there but hotdamn, it really gives the effect of 'I'm trying to claw myself out of smoke with a strange consistency?'.

the bg rocks. as well as the colours and simple shading. reminds me of old comicbook covers...
