Warm-up picture for a commission...

As I was finishing up this piece, the notion that I was working on the rocks too much passed through my head. I thought for a second. When you consider something 'overworked,' it's more a comment on your inablity to depict something properly, or how you imagine it to come out, usually. So I guess the best thing to do is to work more, to research and study how to draw those damn rocks, so I can create them with the same kind of fluidity I have about creating, say, the dogs. Bah!
