I guess I'm on an "urchins of literature" bender.

This is Corporal "Nobby" Nobbs as a youngster (see: Night Watch by Terry Pratchett). Nobby later becomes a policeman who has to carry around an official document certifying that he is a human being. I imagined Young Nobby as a sort of "Artless Dodger", if you will.

While drawing this, every part of my body hurt due to my going to a Flogging Molly concert last night. Then going to work in the morning...everything is for pain! @__@
